The essential mission of SUS Garment Artisans Association is empowerment of women. Especially women who come from the deprived sections of the society. We train girls and women in garment industry on modern stitching, cutting, embroidery machines; also, on finishing and packaging as per the latest market demands. Several of these women have gone on to set up small tailoring units at their village homes while many have found employment with us and are earning very well. It must be said that when most of them joined us they had no training, no stitching experience, and very meagre resources of their own.Â
We offer Free Training Sessions on modern stitching & embroidery machines to young girls and women. They train under experienced professionals in a good environment such that they can work independently. We are looking for sponsors of such training sessions; each training session last … hrs of machine and lecture time.

✔ Machine Stitching – Training on modern industrial sewing machines.
✔ Pattern Making & Cutting – Understanding fabric measurement, cutting techniques, and layout planning.
✔ Garment Construction – Step-by-step guidance on assembling and finishing different clothing items.
✔ Basic & Advanced Stitches – Running stitch, chain stitch, satin stitch, and more.
✔ Traditional Embroidery Styles – Introduction to various regional and artistic embroidery techniques.
✔ Transfer – Learning how to create and transfer embroidery designs.
✔ Thread & Material Selection – Understanding different types of threads, fabrics, and embellishments.
✔ Introduction to Embroidery Machines – Understanding settings, functions, and operations.
✔ Fabric Handling – Proper techniques for stabilizing and working with different fabrics.
We award certificates after successful completion of training; should you sponsor such training your & your company’s name will appear on the certificate. These certificates will help our trainees seek employment or start their own units.
Top-performing candidates will have the opportunity to receive a free stitching machine, empowering them to start their own home-based work and build a brighter future.
