Under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Program, Sus Garment Artisans Association, with the technical support of NIMSME, Hyderabad, is conducting capacity building workshops for MSMEs across Pune, Jalgaon, and Satara. These workshops aim to strengthen MSME growth, entrepreneurship development, financial inclusion, and market access by addressing key knowledge gaps faced by small and medium enterprises.
The training programs are designed to provide practical, hands-on learning and align with the objectives of the Government of India’s MSME development initiatives.
GeM Training Workshops for MSMEs
As part of the RAMP initiative, GeM portal training for MSMEs focuses on enabling entrepreneurs to participate in government procurement through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The sessions cover GeM registration, vendor onboarding, product and service listing, pricing strategy, order processing, and compliance requirements.
This training helps MSMEs understand public procurement processes, improve digital adoption, and create new opportunities for selling to government departments and PSUs.
Financial Knowledge and Financial Literacy Training
Financial literacy for MSMEs is a key component of the RAMP capacity building program. With guidance from NIMSME, Hyderabad, the financial knowledge workshops focus on basic accounting, financial planning, cash flow management, credit readiness, and awareness of central and state government MSME schemes.
These sessions help entrepreneurs improve financial discipline, enhance access to finance, and support sustainable business growth.
IPR Awareness and Intellectual Property Rights Training
The IPR awareness workshops for MSMEs aim to educate entrepreneurs on the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and industrial designs. The training highlights how IPR registration helps in brand protection, business valuation, and competitive advantage.
This component is especially valuable for manufacturers, artisans, and creative enterprises whose innovations and designs need legal protection.
MSME Outreach in Pune, Jalgaon and Satara
By conducting RAMP workshops in Pune, Jalgaon, and Satara, Sus Garment Artisans Association ensures inclusive MSME development across urban and semi-urban regions of Maharashtra. The workshops encourage entrepreneurship awareness, peer learning, and direct interaction with domain experts, making the training relevant and impact-oriented.
Strengthening the MSME Ecosystem Through RAMP
Through the RAMP Program, implemented with the support of NIMSME, Hyderabad, Sus Garment Artisans Association continues to contribute to MSME capacity building, skill development, digital transformation, and market linkages. The initiative supports MSMEs in improving compliance readiness, expanding market access, and achieving long-term business sustainability.
